Berlin, 18 June 2015 - Clue, the world's fastest growing period tracking and fertility app, is proud to announce that it has just reached one million monthly active users, less than two years after its launch in July 2013.
"Clue's mission is to empower people to be in charge of their lives while moving science and health research forward, and with more than a million users entering data every month, we are one step closer to this goal," said Clue co-founder and CEO Ida Tin. "Together, we are little by little breaking down the taboos that still abound around menstruation and fertility."
The app's users come from more than 180 countries, with the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France leading the way. Clue is growing fast and is one of the most popular apps in the "Health & Fitness" category in several countries.
The app is currently available in six languages on iOS, Android and Apple Watch. Clue will soon launch several new languages in order to reach more users around the globe. Additionally, Clue plans to integrate additional reproductive health tracking data into Apple's HealthKit in iOS 9 this fall.
"We receive so many supportive messages from people telling us that Clue is improving their everyday lives, physically and emotionally," Tin said. "They love and trust Clue because our app is accurate, very easy to use, quick and informative."
The Berlin-based company recently secured $2 million in new funding from prestigious investors such as Groupe Arnault, the controlling shareholder of LVMH - Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy, Brigitte Mohn of Bertelsmann and top startup entrepreneurs from Spotify, Dropbox, SoundCloud and Toca Boca.
